What's It Like To Work With AV Live?

Typically, everything begins by you having discovered our service by some means (an online listing, word-of-mouth referral, online search engine, etc.. You will probably take some time to look around our web site for information. After determining that you like what you see, you become intrigued to contact us to seek more information.

The next step is to schedule a "No Obligation" pre-event consultation. The time is taken, either by phone or in person, to confirm the date's availability, get to know you, discuss and uncover what you're looking for in a DJ service, talk about what you envision for your reception, and answer any and all questions you may have.

Once it is determined that we are a good fit for each other (your indication that you'd like to hire us), an Entertainment Agreement will be drawn up, outlining all of the contractual specifics (Date, Time, Location, Service Offered, Price) of the event. After the Entertainment Agreement has been processed, you will have officially become a client.

You will then be set up in our online planning system, giving you the flexibility of planning your event on your own schedule. The system is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You won't have to worry about having to fill out anything by hand or send anything back and forth by mail.

As you become familiar with the system, you will find that there are plenty of options, unique ideas, and room for you to add your own flare, giving you the ability to really personalize your wedding. You will also enjoy the freedom of composing your own "Do Play" and "Do Not Play" lists, which we will strictly adhere to. Throughout the planning stages, we will act as an advisor to you, offering assistance wherever possible.

We proactively check in with you once a month up to the day of your event. You are free to call or write as often as you want with questions, concerns, input, etc.

As we get closer to your wedding date, we will set up a time with you, either by phone or in person, to do a final consultation to go over all of the planning forms and music lists, making sure we're all on the same page.

We will take the time needed to adequately prepare for your event by composing the formal itinerary for the day, going out and getting any additional music needed, rehearsal, etc.

On the big day, we do one final review the itinerary, load up the equipment and travel to venue where your wedding is being hosted. We will arrive anywhere from 90 minutes to 2 hours (more if necessary) before the event start time so that we can set up, do a sound check, meet the event staff, and go over all the details with everyone involved. This ensures that everyone is on the same page. These coordination efforts continue throughout the entire event.

Finally and most importantly, we perform your wedding exactly as planned. After a wonderfully memorable event, we break down, travel home, and send you out an evaluation form to get your feedback.
